As I understand it, the game has been discontinued due to poor sales. Which is most unfortunate as the game is awesome. A lot of the stuff they were working on was made available as Secrets of Fire, but I can't find it on their new website. Some of it is still here though.

it just didnt have the power behind the actual game, cause yeah, FB is a great game. I wish they had continued.

Honestly, I doubt it. The best we may be able to do is get them to let us put pdfs on the site once they sell all of their current stock.

Makes me wonder if we can convince them to sell the rights to someone who would do good by the game.

That's not a half-bad idea. If someone wants to put together a petition or something, I'll sign. I have no idea who would be good candidates for taking over the Fireborn line, but it would be nice to have some books in circulation again.

I asked Fireflight games for the rights near the beginning of the year. We had a bit of a discussion, ideas were proposed, etc.

In the end I was rejected. The reason given was that FFG might want to do something with the license in the future and didn't want to tie it up. So maybe not all is lost.

Basicley they want to see the profit in selling the license first.

I realize this is probably old news around here, but I can't find any mention of it anywhere.

The Player's Handbook, the GameMaster's Handbook and the adventure 'The Fire Within' are all available for $5 each at DriveThruRPG.com.

Not the same as getting a physical book, but easily available.

Yes, I've pointed all my players there, don't know if anyone has actually purchased it.

If only they'd listened to me. I would love to make a 2nd edition with all the Errata and Secrets of Fire included. It would also be good to have a book without all those errors.

I e-mailed Fantasy Flight to ask about "Book of Aspects" availability, and got back in response only: "Unfortunately the Book of Aspects was   
not a product that was ever completed and published, so you will not be able to get a copy of that book I'm afraid."
