Keepers are defenders, but unlike Guardians they do not fight for specific places or items, but rather for ideals, concepts or abstractions. A keeper might consider itself the "defender of the human race", and go wherever their need is strongest. Or he might fight for freedom, or honour.
Other than Warriors, Keepers do not always choose battle as the solution, they also engage in diplomacy, or spread their chosen ideas by art and wisdom. Like the ideal knight of the middle ages, however, they are always prepared and willing to give their arguments additional strength by physical force.
