Non-Combat Styles
I developed the following two combat styles as combat style options for non-combat characters; the first, Cut and Run, is almost purely defensive and meant to enable the character to - well - run away. The second, Basic Self-Defense, is designed to mimick basic emergency self-defense techniques designed to enable someone to defend against an attacker.
 
Cut and Run (1)
A basic defensive style based on running away. It is usually accompanied by panicked screams and yelps of surprise. The few damage-causing attacks are either desperation moves or are of the "knock them down and get away" variety.
 
    Breakaway: TH 2, Spin + Dash, PR 1, Disadvantage (mental) 1
    Dive for Cover: TH 3, Spin + Dash + Roll, PR 1, Disadvantage (mental) 1
    Panicked Attack: TH 3, Dodge + Ready + Fist Strike, PR 1, Disadvantage (mental) 1
    Breakthrough: TH 4, Jump + Ready + Dash + Slam, PR 2, Push 1
    Ducking Crotch Shot: TH 4, Crouch + Ready + Power + Kick Strike, PR 3, Disadvantage (mental) 3
    Quick Escape: TH 5, Crouch + Ready + Grab + Slam + Dash, PR 3, Push 1, Trip
 
 
Basic Self-Defense (2)
A Heel Strike is an attack with the heel against another’s shin; it can only be performed against an opponent who has you grappled from behind. This is the only way a Heel Strike can be used (and it requires a Ready move to raise the leg to strike); unlike a kick, a heel is a 2/L weapon. Fingernails are at most a 1/L weapon if used to attack; unless an individual keeps their nails long, they cannot be used as a weapon. Any attack with one’s fingernails requires a Water (Stamina) roll to avoid breaking a nail; a broken nail is a Disadvantage (mental) 1.
 
    Groin Shot: TH 2, Power + Kick Strike, PR 3, Disadvantage (mental) 3
    Nail Rake: TH 2, Power + Nail Strike, PR 4, Bleed
    Shin Rake: TH 3, Ready (heel) + Heel Strike + Sidestep, PR 4*, Disadvantage (mental) 2, bleed (only if in heels)
    Vital Shot: TH 3, Power + Power + Fist Strike, PR 6, Stun
    Circular Throw: TH 4, Spin + Ready + Grab + Toss, PR 2, Trip
    Face Attacks: TH 5, Power + Power + Power + Power + Nail Strike, TH 9, Disadvantage (mental) 2, Blind
 
 * I set the PR as 4 as the average of the two Payoff Ratings for with and without heels. More realistically, this should be 2/6, based on whether the character is wearing heels (6) or not (2), but this is more bookkeeping.
